2026 Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship-Boys and Girls, ages 9 to 14 may compete.
St. Joseph East York Council #6353-Free Throw Championship-Saturday, January 10, 2026-Registration 1:00pm Competition 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Winners receive a council champion wooden plaque and will be invited to the district competition.

About our bingo program:
Doors Open at 4:00pm. Pull tabs and Bonanza on sale at that time.
Bingo card 20 game packets go on sale at 5:00pm.
Columbiette's Kitchen opens at 5:00pm!
Bingo Starts at 6:30pm.

Average payout per game, $100. Full-card before half-time $500. Full-card final game each Thursday, $1,000. Players Bonus and Pick-Four payouts are typically substantial amounts! Come check us out!

History about our bingo program
The St. Joseph East York Pennsylvania bingo fundraiser has been run by the local Knights of Columbus organization for almost 40 years. The actual bingo program has been running for over 53 years. It takes about 20 volunteers to run the program each night. There are 150 seats available in the St. Joseph School Gym, where we play bingo. We bought a new bingo console two years ago and a new LED screen last year. The school gym is professionally cleaned every Thursday. (Pictured bottom right below.) Tables are cleaned and sanitized in preparation for the next bingo event.
There is a great deal of behind the scenes activity in preparation for Thursday bingo. Scheduling. Ordering of supplies. Set-up and tear down planning.
Everyone who plays bingo, gets a door prize ticket with the number of cards or packet quantity they purchased written on it. Twice during the evening, three prize winning numbers are drawn. So, six bingo players will be given free bingo cards or packets for the next time they play bingo or when they plan to use the free play.
The door prize tickets should be held as we draw door prizes every six weeks with the six weeks of tickets accumulated. The door prizes are typically $10 to $15 food items, as pictured on the left below.
Bingo payouts are typically $100 per game. There is one $200 game, and two full card games that pay out $500 before half-time and then another that is the final game of the night for $1,000. We play a game called Pick-Four. Cards are one for $4 or three for $10. Our Horse Races are typcally valued at $500 for the winning Horse and $100 for the winning ball.
We have a Players Bonus program. Funds are accumulated each week based on attendance.

After reviewing our bad weather program in March of 2025, a decision has been made by Father Sahd in regards to snowy and icy conditions. "If the parish office is closed, there will be no bingo."
