Quo Vadis Days 2026 Recap June 23rd & 24th

We wanted to send out a quick thank you to everyone who supported the Quo Vadis two-day effort to provide a delicious lunch and dinner for the guests of Father Joshua Weaver, Director of Vocations.
On Tuesday, Bishop Senior attended the special luncheon. Both Tuesday and Wednesday, we had numerous priests, seminarians and 80 plus young men having a look at the priesthood.
Father Weaver went out of his way to thank the Knights of Columbus for all of the hard work completed.
The picture at the top of this communication shows the presentation of a $3,000 check by Chapter Treasurer, Jerry Schweitzer, to Father Weaver during the luncheon with Bishop Senior. A separate check for $500 is being sent by Grand Knight & Sir Knight Bernie Cabana from Msgr. Yeager Council 14035.
We cannot thank our Chef, Greg Mikolajczak, enough for all of his effort in preparing about 160 lbs. of pork, brisket and chicken for the luncheon on Tuesday and then another large quantity of hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage on Wednesday.
Mike Casey's organizational skills were remarkable again this year, and we owe him a great deal of gratitude for staying on top of all of the issues and making the preparation for each day seamless.
Thank you to Mike Yakubick for creating a long history of successful lunches and dinners for Quo Vadis, since 2004. He and many of the men listed at the top of this memo are on auto pilot and keep coming back each year to make this program a great success.

Again, thank you to everyone who supported our efforts on Tuesday and Wednesday, and thank you to all of the councils that made a donation this year. It is greatly appreciated.
If the young men in the pictures appear excited, well they were. They went out of their way to thank us for the meal prepared each day.
