Bishop McDevitt Assembly Meeting February 13, 2026

The open meeting was held 7:35 PM at St Patrick York following 6:30PM Rosary and social.
There were 14 Sir Knights in attendance.
The following officers were present: Matt Raley - Faithful Comptroller, Fr Stephen Kelley - Faithful Friar, Spencer Downing - Faithful Captain, Joe Valenti - Faithful Purser, Dale Fanale - Faithful Pilot, Karl Zerbey - Faithful Scribe, Shay Coll - Outer Sentinel, Chester Young - Color Corps Commander and Kelly Brown - Two Year Trustee.
Opening ceremonies and prayer were conducted by Spencer Downing - Faithful Captain.
Minutes of December meeting corrected name and approved. Purser Report:
Balance $10982.42 checking and 1700.02 savings/regalia fund.
ComptrollerReport:
Assembly in good standing, 166 members, 1 honorary, 36 honorary life and 3 exempt.
Fraternal survey form 1728 submitted. Form 990EZ filed.
Total 1375 fraternal hours and 100 hours visits to sick/disabled for assembly.
Charitable contribution $5970.
Vouchers: to Kelly Brown for car wash coupons $800, to Matt Raley for tax forms $50.
Motion to pay bills passed on vote.
Income: $1301 dues.
Point of order:
Motion to have Captain ascend to Navigator position due to illness - passed on vote.
Kelly Brown to be acting captain.

Biennial district assembly meeting 15 Mar - assembly members Spencer, Matt & Kelly to attend.
State convention 15-17 May 2026 in Pittsburgh - councils to sign up.
Car wash coupons 50 @ $10 and 50 @ $22 available for councils to sell.
Malvern Retreat 15-17 May 2026 - cost $270, financial assistance available, reservations needed.
Men’s Conference 8:30 AM 18 Apr $40 at Harrisburg Diocesan Center.
Regalia fund to help members, 50/50 tickets after meeting.
Free throw competition -continues, regional 07 Mar, state 14 Mar.

Car wash fund raiser for Mr Car Wash details discussed - must purchase coupons with no returns.
