There were 82 knights and parishioners in attendance. Music was provided by DJ Twisted Postman. A remarkable menu provided by Heritage Hills. Based on observations, a good time was had by all!

The Night Before Bingo In Honor of our Worthy Brother William “Bill” Fullerton Twas the night before Bingo, when all through the St. Joseph School House, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Bingo tables and chairs were set up by Ken with care, in hopes that 120 St. Joseph bingo players soon would be there. The bingo machine and tattered screen were working without mishap, and I then began to put reservation slips into place in order for me to take a quick nap! When in the bingo office there rose such a clatter, I sprang from the gym to see what was the matter. Away to the room entrance, I flew like a flash, tore open the door and started to pick up the cash…. The poor lighting in the room, like a glare of fallen snow, made it difficult to see the objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but our Worthy Brother lying flat on the floor. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, and I whistled and shouted and called them by name: “Now, Mrs. Eck, Now Traci and others out there, call 911, and get in touch with his children for his emergency care!” Back to his side I did go, waiting and hoping help would soon be there! His face was flush and his body temperature was high. He was able to speak and tell me he was spry! The minutes did pass as our worthy brother came to, he was ready to get back to work and me too. The paramedics did come and inquire by name, all of this excitement at Bingo, was just more of the same. Our friend was asked to sit on the gurney with care. He advised there was nothing wrong and our bingo players would soon be there. In and out of consciousness he did flow. Stating I am okay and you paramedics must go! Despite his passion to stay and work, we knew there was a problem, it was not just a quirk! His refusal to go to the emergency room wasdire. I was looking for help. Maybe I should call a Friar? When all of a sudden into unconsciousness he did fall. I yelled to the paramedics, take him quickly to the ambulance outside, just down the hall! Our honorable brother was now in special care, I called the emergency room at 6:00pm to see if he was still there. I did reach the emergency room by phone. I advised I was looking for the status of a wonderful friend, who hopefully was not all alone. I sent him to the emergency room against his will. He should be in your care; his name is Bill. The nurse advised he was still there. He is getting a procedure, under a heart doctor’s care. William “Bill” Fullerton, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication the past 50 years!
